Ghost Story Tours (Family-Friendly Version)
October 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 6 - 7:30 PM, Riverfront Park - Visit Spokane Visitor Center, $10, Registration Required
History-based spooky walking tours meant to be fun, not frightening. Join local historian Chet Caskey for a lightly eerie walking Ghost Tour through Riverfront Park. Beginning at the Visit Spokane Visitor Center, you'll wander the park while hearing fascinating tales of its haunted history. Each tour highlights a different verifiable, true, spine-tingling event that took place in Riverfront Park. This one is best for older preschoolers who enjoy all things Halloween.
Puppet Lab: Trash Puppets
All Ages. Puppet lab is back! Join local puppet makers Alex and Tiffany to create one of a kind puppets out of trash. Turn one person’s trash into your puppet treasure while diverting items from the waste stream. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring one or two pieces of clean waste material from your day to day life.
This program is all ages, but we recommend that any attendees under 13 come with a parent or guardian to help assist with some of the more grown-up tools.
Recycled materials provided, all you need to bring is your imagination.

Saturday, October 17, 11 AM - 2 PM, Riverfront Park - Clock Tower Meadow
Free family carnival with pumpkin-themed activities and games. Riverfront Park is transforming Clock Tower Meadow into a fun-filled carnival. Get into the spirit by dressing up in your favorite costumes, then get creative by making and decorating your very own Pumpkin Racecar. Feel the excitement as you compete in the thrilling Great Pumpkin Race!
Games, prizes, food, and fun will be there for the whole family to enjoy.
DIY Fall Seed Bombs
